Friday

Well it has been years since I have even look at this blog. With all of my upcoming adventures I decided that I might take it up again. So today's story about the words of 5 years old.

Teacher: Jupiter is big planet
Student A: Does it have big eyes?
Student B: Does it have a big butt? *giggle giggle*
Student C: It has a big penis! *giggle giggle giggle*

A few minutes later I hear Student C "I said it has a big penis".

Sunday

I finished

I finished my first semester.  I passed all of my assessments.  Even my speech…which I was terrified about. I have been homework free for an entire week.  I start my next semester again tomorrow.  Wish me luck because I am going to attempt to get 11 classes done!!

Saturday

Sorry Beth

I am the world’s worst blogger, hence the apology to Beth, my one loyal reader. I am currently on a train on my way to RI, melting in a car with no AC.  I am finishing up my first semester at WGU. I have one task left to complete: film myself giving a speech.  Then I am finished…until June 1at.

Yesterday I took a test in US History, Geography & US Government.  These are all very  broad subjects that were condensed down into a 72 question test.  I got to the testing center, the guy took me to my computer, entered the access code and ERROR.  This happens twice, on separate computers.  I then spend the next hour and a half spinning in a chair talking to David (that the the guy who checks people in at the testing center).  Everything is finally resolved and it took me a whopping 28 minutes to take my test.  Which I PASSED btw.

So now for cute things, so many cute things happen on a daily basis where I work I can’t keep track of them all!  The PPT gives me a compliment everyday.  Usually on some article of clothing, today he loved my tie-day shirt (which me made as a class project) and me.  He just felt compelled today to tell me that he loved me.  A new child who reminds me very much of Noah, told me during a round of Freeze Dance, that he likes my moves.  Same phrasing, “Ms. Casey, I really like your moves.”  Another teacher was asking my kids what they want to be when they grow up and one child said “A Lawyer”, most of you would think that he would study law and such…but you are wrong.  He actually wants to be a Dragon Lawyer, like in Kung-Fu Panda. Also known as a Warrior. He wore a tall pointy had with stars on it and told everyone he was a Magical Lizard, to those of you who don’t understand preschooler with a speech impediment, that means a Wizard.

Boyfriend and I recently celebrated our birthdays (one week apart).   I got him tickets to go see a back called Pepper at the House of Blues. It was an absolute blast!

Sorry kids but that is all for now. I will try to do better. I will try!

EEW!

Today before I went took my assessment I had woman ask me when I was due. When in a very offended tone I asked “Excuse me?” She proceeded to point at my belly and slowly and more loudly ask, “When is the baby due?” I told her I wasn’t pregnant and she said it must be the scarf.  I then had to write a 1500 word essay on my favorite color and how it makes me feel and why why it is my favorite color.  Then another one persuading my family to go on my dream vacation with me. I mean really, how much persuading would you guys really need?!

I do not look like that!!!

So very sad.

Sunday

Things I can’t wait to do in Cali

I was just making a sandwich and it made me miss certain things about California.

1. safeway Safeway Sandwiches. There are Safeway’s everywhere, even in Canada and Mexico. Everywhere EXCEPT New England.  They make the BEST sandwiches

2. We all know that this is my favorite restaurant of all time. Nothing compares.

3. Mongolian BBQ is something they have never even heard of on this coast. Boyfriend wholeheartedly agrees that this is a serious oversight on their part.

4. The American River and water in general.  It was never a far drive to go to some body of water: The American River, Folsom Lake, Sacramento River, ect… I know Mass is a costal state but I have never seen the ocean in the year I have lived here and if you have to drive there then it isn’t easy to get to.  I miss water!!!!

5. gwen2 I am super excited to meet Nala.

Hip Hip Hooray!!

I got my computer back!!!  HOORAY!!  I hope that you all had wonderful holidays.  I spent mine here on the east coast.  It was a beautiful day and I got beautiful presents.

Emerald Ring

I also received a matching necklace. We spend the afternoon at his aunt’s beautiful farm house. I got a new camera from Daddy and went a little picture crazy.

That evening we spent together with our doggie.
